‘Inside Out 2’ Overtakes ‘Dune: Part Two’ as 2024’s Highest-Grossing Film

The animated sequel has generated over $283 million domestically and has surpassed the $500 million mark globally. It is expected to close its second weekend with a domestic total nearing $350 million. ‘Inside Out 2’ has also performed well internationally, with a total of $226.7 million as of Thursday. Despite ‘Dune: Part Two’ still leading the global box office with $711.8 million, ‘Inside Out 2’ is projected to reach between $650 million and $700 million by the end of its second weekend.
