AirSial has announced an expansion of its international operations, spurred by the acquisition of five modern aircraft on lease. The airline is reportedly in talks with several aviation firms to finalize the purchase of these new planes. To support its expanded operations, AirSial intends to recruit additional personnel, including pilots and cabin crew.
The recent approval from the cabinet has greenlit AirSial to operate flights on seven new international routes. These routes will connect Pakistan with key destinations in China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait.
In other developments, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) recently conducted a performance evaluation of domestic airlines over a six-month period. Unfortunately, AirSial was ranked at the bottom of the list, with a punctuality rating of 80.77 percent.
Despite this setback, AirSial’s strategic expansion plans underscore its commitment to providing enhanced travel options for passengers flying to and from Pakistan.
