In a proactive attempt to prevent illegal kite flying ahead of the Basant festival, authorities in Gujrat have ramped up their efforts to confiscate kites and strings from vendors.
As part of this operation, Lorry Adda police apprehended kite seller Habib Asif Rahmani, a resident of Kalupura. The police seized 105 kites and 10 rolls of string from Rahmani. A case has been filed against him for the violation.
