Jin Teases Solo Comeback Following Military Discharge

BTS's Jin, the oldest member of the group, recently completed his mandatory military service, being discharged on June 12 after 18 months. Now, he's dropped a major hint about his solo comeback following fellow member Jimin's announcement of his upcoming album, MUSE.

Jimin revealed the tracklist for MUSE, his second solo album, set to release on July 19. Jin, 31, excitedly commented on Jimin’s official Weverse post, saying, “Jimin-ah, I’m next. I’m going to sing too!”

This comment from Jin has sparked speculation among the BTS ARMY, who believe it’s more than just a playful remark but a teaser for Jin’s upcoming musical endeavors. Despite his discharge from military service, Jin has not released an official solo album since his debut single, “The Astronaut,” in October 2022.

During a previous conversation with BTS members, Jin mentioned that he had received songs and was preparing for them. He also hinted that his release date might be the last among the members.

Before his military discharge, rumors circulated about Jin collaborating with Coldplay, although there has been no official confirmation of this collaboration yet.
