Sabrina Carpenter has claimed the top spot on the UK singles chart.

Sabrina Carpenter is dominating the UK singles chart with two of her tracks, "Please Please Please" and "Espresso," holding the top two positions.

“Please Please Please” has recently overtaken “Espresso,” which had been at the top for five consecutive weeks. Both songs are part of Carpenter’s upcoming sixth album, “Short ‘n Sweet.”

The music video for “Please Please Please” features Carpenter and her real-life boyfriend, actor Barry Keoghan, engaging in criminal activities. Carpenter showcased both of her chart-topping hits and performed a cover of Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe” during her appearance on Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

“Short ‘n Sweet” is scheduled for release in August, alongside Carpenter’s announcement of a series of tour dates in the US. Despite having released five albums prior to this, Carpenter’s popularity soared with the success of her summer anthem “Espresso.”

In addition to Carpenter’s hits, the current top five singles on the chart include Eminem’s “Houdini” at number three, Billie Eilish’s “Birds Of A Feather” at four, and Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” at number five.
